The Storm is happy to welcome Coach Shawn Walter as our new Head Coach for the 2021 season!
Coach Walter brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from years of coaching and playing in the CJFL with the Edmonton Huskies. He is actively involved in the development of women’s tackle football on many fronts as well. Coach Walter not only serves as the Women’s Team Alberta Offensive Line coach but also as Commissioner of the WWCFL (where he has been for 5 seasons). He has previously coached on the Storm as Offensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator, and we are excited to see what Coach Walter brings to the Head Coach role.
